Mini Make Up Haul - Profusion Cosmetics, Stila, Ellen Tracy

I hardly ever purchase make up from discount retail stores like Marshall's or Ross. My go-to store is Sephora and occasionally, Ulta.

I had been seeing on social media that Marshall's was selling Kat Von D blush and contour duos. I HAD TO FIND IT!!

Well, of course, when I got there, there was none...however, I did find some great deals!

I found this  beautiful ten shade eye shadow palette by Profusion. The cost was $4.99 and even if there was only one shadow in the collection I would use, it wasn't a bad deal.
The PERFECT TEN ROSE palette is comprised of....shades of rose, pinks and purples with some gold and bronze thrown in to round it out.

....Oh my....the colors
The last five colors in the palette are definitely my favorite, but the entire palette is really gorgeous!
The shimmer shades are definitely the  most pigmented. They are so rich and creamy and blend unbelievably well. The shimmer shades really match the quality of high end shadows.
The matte and satin shades are a bit dusty. I did experience some fall out on my arm when swatching. The lighter shades really take some work to build up. They do apply beautifully, the lasted through out the day and for $4.99, this palette is an extremely good deal!
I swatched the heck outta the second Sable colored shade. You can hardly see it on my arm. My arms are tanned from the pool and the shade showed up much better on my lids.
I had only purchased a Profusion palette once before. We were on vacation in Memphis and I don't know how, but I left most of my make up at home. I was scrambling to find something decent to buy and stopped by at Walgreens. I wasn't going to spend alot of money on make just for a few days of vacation.

This palette was $5.00, on sale w/50% off...grand total of $2.50.
Aside from my Too Faced Peach palette, this Profusion Angelic Eyes is my hands down most favorite palette of all time. In fact, it is such a favorite that I keep it in the back of my eyeshadow drawer, away from other people's hands and harm. I don't know what I would do if something happened to it. I have looked and looked for another and cannot find it anywhere....
The palette consists of ten baked shadows. The shadows are small and my only complaint is that it's hard to get to them but they are so worth it.
The pigmentation is just beautiful. They are not dusty. No fall out. Super blend-able.

They're just perfect. I love, love, love this palette so much. I would do anything to find a back up!!
I don't wear all the shades, like the yellow and blue. The shade just below the yellow is my favorite. It's actually got a dip down on one side from using it so much.
I put the palette up and only use it on very special occasions. I want it to last as long as possible!!
This is the top row swatched. They don't show up super dark on my arm (again, pretty tanned) but in person they are amazing!
The bottom three are my most favorite shades.
At Ross I was looking for blush organizers. My blush and high light drawer is being taken over make up bags, powder and foundation.
I didn't find a blush organizer, but I found this cute quad of blushes by Ellen Tracy. I've been a fan of Ellen Tracy perfume but have never used her makeup.
This quad was $5.99. It breaks down to $1.50 a blush.
The pans are quite large and offer a lot of product.
Not bad at all!
The first shade is a very bright bubble gum pink. It is a bit dusty and I think would be better suited as an eye shadow. The next shade is a darker pink, almost rose color. It's a bit more satin and didn't produce as much dust/fall out as the bubble gum pink shade.

The third shade is my absolute favorite. It reminds me of Kimora Lee Simmons KLS Mojave Rose blush.... my most favorite blush of all time! This blush is a dusty rose with a touch of golden shimmer in it. I wore it today, it is amazing. The last color is a peachy coral color. This satin shade is super highly pigmented and has an almost highlighter effect to it. In fact, when I wore it last night, on my cheekbones, it gave off a glowing highlight effect.
The shades in the blush palette are EXTREMELY pigmented! A very, very little goes a very long way!
At Marshalls I found these Stila Magnificent Metals Lip Glosses for $5.00 each. I couldn't pass that up. They are so moisturizing and creamy. They smell like chocolate and have just the right amount of sparkle to them.
They were an amazing steal for $5.00 each. I have been wearing mine alone but today I put a matte nude lip liner as my lip color and put the gloss on top...perfection!!
I swatched the shades in the order they appear in the photo above.
The first shade is GARNET. It looks super dark in the tube. You'd have to really build it up to get it that dark. One or two coats gives your lips such a beautiful, soft color.
The second shade is MOONSTONE. It's a very light soft pink color with iridescent sparkle.
Third is KITTEN which is a darker pink with a pearly finish. It too has the sparkle.
Fourth is CITRINE. It's a golden color shade with gold sparkle. It is my absolute favorite.
That was my make up haul for this week. I am very happy with my finds. I will definitely be using all of these products! I already have a few favorite shades from my Profusion Perfect Ten palette and a favorite blush.
